This box can be understood as two equations:

\begin{cases}4\cdot x=48 \\ x\cdot y=60\end{cases}

Solving for the first equation and using that result in the second one, we get

\begin{gathered} 4x=48 \\ \Rightarrow x=12 \\ \Rightarrow x\cdot y=60\Rightarrow12\cdot y=60 \\ \Rightarrow y=5 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the answer for the left side is 12, and the answer for the top side is 5
