Given the equation:

6-x=y

we can write the values that are missing on the table if we make x = 0 and x = 2 and solve for y separately. We have the following:

\begin{gathered} x=0 \\ \Rightarrow6-0=y \\ \Rightarrow y=6 \\ x=2 \\ \Rightarrow6-2=y \\ \Rightarrow y=4 \end{gathered}

notice that if x = 0, then y = 6, and if x = 2, then y = 4.

For the last box, now we have that y = 2, substituting this value on the equation we get:

\begin{gathered} y=2 \\ \Rightarrow6-x=2 \end{gathered}

to solve for x, we can add 'x' on both sides of the equation, and then move the 2 on the right side to the left side. By doing this, the sign of the 2 will change to negative:

\begin{gathered} 6-x=2 \\ \Rightarrow6-x+x=2+x \\ \Rightarrow6=2+x \\ \Rightarrow6-2=x \\ \Rightarrow4=x \end{gathered}

therefore, if y = 2, then x = 4
