If an average-sized man with a parachute jumps from an airplane, he will fall 12.5(0.2^t - 1) + 21t feet in seconds. How long will it take him to fall 152 feet? (Round your answer to two decimalplaces.)_______sec

h(t) = 12.5(0.2t - 1) + 21t

If h(t) = 152, then:

12.5(0.2t - 1) + 21t = 152

Solving for t:

2.5t - 12.5 + 21t = 152

23.5t - 12.5 = 152

Add 12.5 to both sides:

23.5t = 152 + 12.5

23.5t = 164.5

Divide both sides by 23.5:

t = 164.5/23.5 = 7
