The rule of the slope of a line passes through two points is

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Let point (x1, y1) = (-7, 3) and point (x2, y2) = (4, -2)

x1 = -7 and x2 = 4

y1 = 3 and y2 = -2

Substitute them in the rule above
