Let the three consecutive odd numbers be

(2n + 1), (2n + 3) and (2n + 5)

Notice that an arithmetic progression is formed as the common difference "d" is given as


\begin{gathered} d\text{ = 2n + 3 - (2n + 1)} \\ d\text{ = 2n + 3 - 2n -1} \\ d\text{ = 2} \end{gathered}
