While the graph has a discontinuity at the point x= -5, its limit as x approaches -5 certainly exists.

To find the value of the limit when x approaches -5, we read the graph for the corresponding value on the vertical axis when x = -5.

This is equivalent to +5 (the value on the vertical axis that corresponds to x = -5).

and, from the graph, the limit of F(x) as x approaches -5 is +5
