The y intercept of the equation is the point where x = 0

thus, (x, y) = (0, 16)

slope = ( -5)

The general equation of line with slope 'm' and passing point(a, b)

y - b = m( x- a )

Susbtitute the value m = -5, a = 0, b = 16

y - b = m (x - a)

y - 16 = (-5)(x - 0)

y - 16 = -5x

y = 16 - 5x

The equation of line is y = 16 - 5x

Answer : The equation of line is y = 16 - 5x
