To find the first 5 multiples of 9, multiply 9 times the first 5 whole numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5):

\begin{gathered} 9*1=9 \\ 9*2=18 \\ 9*3=27 \\ 9*4=36 \\ 9*5=45 \end{gathered}

It means that the first 5 multiples of 9 are 9, 18, 27, 36 and 45.
