From the figure, a parallelogram, side AB is equal and parallel to side CD.

Since C is located at the same level as D, the y-coordinate of C must be equal to the y-coordinate of D(h, r) which is r

From the description above, the length of AB is equal to the length of CD,

notice that the length of AB is f

Using the distance formula along the x-axis :


f-0=f

Then, the length of CD must be equal also to f.

To find the x-coordinate of C, the x-coordinate of D(h, r) must be added by a length f

So this will be :


\begin{gathered} h+f \\ or \\ f+h \end{gathered}

Therefore, the coordinates of C is :


(x,y)\rightarrow(f+h,r)
