We have the following:

In the figure we can see that the angle x and the angle y are equal.

Now, we know that inside a triangle, the sum of the angles is always equal to 180 °

Therefore:


\begin{gathered} 180=x+y+110 \\ x=y \\ 180=y+y+110 \\ 2y=180-110 \\ y=(70)/(2) \\ y=35 \\ x=35 \end{gathered}

Therefore, x = 35° and y = 35°
