The cost of fencing the entire garden given the dimensions is 1,559.4

How much will it cost to fence in the entire garden.

Length = 14⅔ yards

Width = 10⅓ yards

Perimeter of the garden = 2(length + width)

= 2(14⅔ + 10⅓)

= 2(44/3 + 31/3)

= 2(44+31 / 3)

= 2(75/3)

= 150/3

= 50 yards

Fencing is sold in 2.5 foot

Convert 50 yards to foot

1 yard = 3 feet

50 yards = 150 feet

Number of sections = 150 feet / 2.5 feet

= 60 sections

If it costs 25.99 per section

Hence,

Total cost of fencing the garden = Number of sections × Cost per section

= 60 × 25.99

= 1,559.4
