I’m confused with how to start this off. It’s function graphs, (square root) algebra-example-1

Looking at the red graph, we can see that the square root function was translated 3 units down and 3 units left, so we can write the following equation:


f(x)=\sqrt[]{x+3}-3

Then, for the green graph, we have a translation of 3 units up and 3 units right, so the equation is:


g(x)=\sqrt[]{x-3}+3
