First we can seperate the problem

(x^3 + 2/3x^2) + (-2x - 4/3)

We factor x^2 out of the first parenthesis

x^2(x + 2/3) + (-2x - 4/3)

and factor -2 out of the second

x^2 (x+2/3) +-2 (x +2/3)

then we rewrite it as

(x+2/3) (x^2 -2)
