Statement Problem: Show how to use the unit circle to find tan B.

Solution: Given that triangle ABC has side lengths of;

a=15inches,b=15\sqrt[]{3}inches,c=30inches

Using Unit circle;

The tangent is;

\begin{gathered} \tan B=(\sin B)/(\cos B) \\ \tan B=\frac{15\sqrt[]{3}}{30}/(15)/(30) \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \tan B=\frac{15\sqrt[]{3}}{30}*(30)/(15) \\ \tan B=\sqrt[]{3} \end{gathered}
