To find the equation of a line that passes through the points;

(10, 2) and (2, -2)

we will use the formula;

y-y_1=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)(x-x_1)

From the question;

x₁ = 10 y₁=2 x₂ = 2 y₂ = -2

substiuting the above values into the formula;

y-2\text{ =}(-2-2)/(2-10)(x-10)

Then we will go ahead and simplifies

y\text{ - 2 =}(-4)/(-8)(x\text{ -10)}

y\text{ - 2= }(1)/(2)(x-10)
