Jose is driving on the highway. He begins the trip with 12 gallons of gas in his car. The car uses up one gallon of hay every 30 miles. Let G represent the number of gallons of gas he has left in his tank, and let D represent the total distance (in miles) he has travels. Write an equation relating G to D, and then graph your equation using the axes above.

The initial gallon of gas at the beginning of the trip is 12.

Then, for every 30 miles, the car uses one gallon, we have;


\begin{gathered} G=12-(1)/(30)D \\ G=12-(D)/(30) \end{gathered}

Using the equation below to plot the graph of the relation, we have;
