In order to compare the slopes and y-intercepts of two lines we need to compare both independently:

if we compare the slopes for the first line it is a negative value of 2, which means that as x increases y will become decrease twice the value that x increased, for the second line we have a positive value of 3, which means that as x increases y will increase as well but thrice the value that x did.

The slope of the first line shows an inverse proportion because one variable decreases as the other one increase, the slope of the second line shows a direct proportion because one variable increases as the other one increase as well.

For the y-intercepts, we understand it as the y-value when x is equal to 0, in this case, we can say that the first line has a greater value as a y-intercept which is 3 than the second line which has a value of -7.
