Given the equation:

3y + 2 = x² - 5x + 17

We are to find the point that is not in solution set of the equation.

Let's put the points (-2, 10) into the equation

Where x = -2, y = 10

3y + 2 = x² - 5x + 17

3(10) + 2 = (-2)² - 5(-20 + 17

30 + 2 = 4 + 10 + 17

32 = 31

Therefore the point that is not the solution set of the equation is (-2, 10).
