Identify the x and y intercepts of the graph of the function below. Type your intercepts as a point (x,y). If an intercept does not exist type "none". If more than one intercept exists you can type either intercept.f(x)= -3|x-2|-1 x intercept = Answery intercept = Answer

Given function is

f(x)=-3|x-2|-1

Putting x=0, we have,

\begin{gathered} f(0)=-3|-2|-1 \\ =-3(2)-1 \\ =-7 \end{gathered}

Hence, the y intercept is (0,-7).

To find the x intercept, let us solve teh equation

f(x)=0

It gives

\begin{gathered} -3|x-2|=1 \\ |x-2|=-(1)/(3) \end{gathered}

But this equation has no solution.

Hence, the x intercept is NONE
