we need to add the price of the shirt and the tax for this

the price is 11.50 and the tax is the price multiply by 0.075

so

\begin{gathered} 11.50+(11.50*0.075) \\ 11.50+(0.8625) \\ =12.3625 \end{gathered}

rounding the answer the total price is $12.36
