Q 3) The sum of two rational numbers is a rational

Example:

3/5 + 6/5 = 9/5

===============================================================

Q 4) The product of a rational number and an irrational number is an irrational

Example: 1/2 * √2 = 1/√2 which is an irrational number

===============================================================

Q 5) the product of 5/6 * √11 = 5√11/6 is an irrational number

It cannot be written s a/b

===============================================================

Q 6) the sum of ( 0.383838 ......) and √16 is a rational number

because: 0.383838 ...... = 38/99

and √16 = 4

and both of them {38/99 and 4} are a rational number

so, the sum of them is also a rational number.

the sum of 38/99 and 4 = 38/99 + 4 = 4 38/99 = 434/99 (rational number)

===============================================================

Note: rational numbers which can be written as the form a/b like the fractions

irrational numbers cannot be written as the form a/b like √2

Best wishes.
