Since we have that GD = BC, then, by the transitive property:


\begin{gathered} GD=BC=FH \\ \Rightarrow GD=FH \end{gathered}

Now, FH=AE, then, again by the transitive property:


\begin{gathered} GD=FH=AE \\ \Rightarrow GD=AE \end{gathered}

Therefore, AE=GD
