First we can calculate the cost for one pizza, it can be calculated if we divide the cost of 2 pizzas between 2

1\text{ pizza cost =}(19.98)/(2)=9.99

In order to know the value of x we will multiply the cost for one pizza by the quantity of pizza ordered in this case 5

x=9.99*(5)=49.95

If I ordered 5 pizzas I will pay $49.95

x=49.95
