2. A construction company is preparing 10 acres of land for a new housing community. The landcontains large rocks that need to be removed. A machine removes 10 rocks from 360 square feet ofland. If the rocks are distributed evenly, how many rocks are there on all 10 acres?*1 acre = 43,560 sq. feet.

\begin{gathered} \text{ 360 square f}eet=10\text{ rocks } \\ 435600\text{ square fe}et=? \\ \text{amount of rocks = }(435600*10)/(360)=12100\text{ rocks} \end{gathered}

12100 rocka are on 10 acres of land
