AC is 2 times AB, it means


\begin{gathered} 10x-20=2(20-x) \\ 10x-20=40-2x \\ 10x+2x=40+20 \\ 12x=60 \\ x=(60)/(12) \\ x=5 \end{gathered}

The value of x is 5
