If the measure of the angle is 17 times greater than its supplement

Then its supplement be x

Let the angle be 17x

Since they are supplementary then, there sum must give 180°

x + 17x = 180°

18x = 180

divide both-side of the equation by 18

x= 180/18

x = 10

Hence the measure of the s
