Jeremy has heard a lot of people in the club talking about tackling a 950-foot rock formation. Jeremy has set a limit that they won’t climb anything that takes longer than 7 hours, so they have enough time to travel to and from the place. Will it be possible to climb a 950-foot rock formation within Jeremy’s time constraint? Explain why or why not.

Yes he can

  • Neismith stated in his rule that the average time is 19.5min per mile and 30min per 1000ft

According to this

One can climb 5000ft in 6hours .

Even though he is not a professional he can easily climb 1500ft in 7h.
