-2x + y = 2 -----------------------(1)

x + y = 5 -----------------------(2)

subtract equation (2) from equation (1)

-3x = - 3

divide both-side of the equation by -3

x= 1

substitute x = 1 into equation (2) and solve for y

1 + y = 5

subtract 1 from both-side

y = 5-1

y= 4

Hence, the point which the graph intersect is (1, 4)
