The statement that is not true is;

The relationship is proportional

Here, we want to select the option that is not true about the graph

We shall be doing this by going through each of the options;

a) We check for this by looking at the y-value that is corresponding to 5 weeks; As we can see, the y-value here is $100 and that means this option is correct

b) This is also correct; this is correct because the balance remaining at 7 weeks is $60

c) Here, we want to check if the relationship is proportional

If the relationship is proportional, we have to multiply the x or y values by a certain number to get either of the two;

At no point on the graph do we multiply by a certain value to get either of x and y; that means the relationship is not proportional and this option cannot be true

d) Looking at the graph, we have the y-intercept at 200

Now, we can get the slope of the line by using any two points. We write this with the intercept so we can get the slope-intercept form of the equation

\begin{gathered} y\text{ = mx + b} \\ b\text{ = 200} \\ To\text{ get m;} \\ m\text{ = }(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) \\ m\text{ = }(200-160)/(2-0)\text{ = }(-40)/(2)\text{ = -20} \end{gathered}

So the equation of the line is;

y\text{ = 200-20x}

This means that this equation is correct
