Determine the rate of change of Squeaky's clean car wash.

\begin{gathered} m=(13-8)/(10-5) \\ =(5)/(5) \\ =1 \end{gathered}

So rate of change of Squeaky's clean car wash is 1. This means that Squeaky's car wash cost $1 for 1 minute.

b.

Determine the rate of change of Euclid's car wash.

\begin{gathered} m^(\prime)=(6-4)/(6-0) \\ =(2)/(6) \\ =(1)/(3) \end{gathered}

The rate of change of Euclid's car wash is 1/3. This means that Euclid's car wash cost $1 for 3 minutes or $1/3 for one minute.

c.

The rate of change for Squeaky's car is 1 where as for Euclid's car is 1/3. The rate of change Squeaky's car wash is more than Euclid's car wash.

From the graph it can be observed that for 12 minutes wash Euclid's car wash cost is $8.

Fo every minute the Squeaky's clean car wash cost is $1. From table it can be observed that for 10 min wash Squeaky's clean car wash cost $13. So for 12 min it cost $15.

Thus Euclid's car wash cost less as compare to Squeaky's clean car wash (for 12 minutes car wash).

Answer: Euclid's car wash is better deal as it cost less as compare to Squeaky's clean car wash.
