\begin{gathered} \text{PROBLEM} \\ \\ 2\text{ < }(4)/(5)\text{ + W} \end{gathered}

Method

HintS

In math you cannot add or subtract unlike terms

example 3 books + 4 books = 7 books

3 goats + 5 books can not be added together.

11 books - 5 yams can not be evaluated because they are not like terms

therefore 4/5 + w can not be added, next you collect like terms

when you move term across = or > sign, the operation sign of the term will change.

i.e negative change to positive and positive change to negative.

Let solve the question now

\begin{gathered} 2\text{ < }(4)/(5)\text{ + w} \\ 2\text{ - }(4)/(5)\text{ < w} \\ \frac{10\text{ - 4}}{5}\text{ < w} \\ (6)/(5)\text{ < w} \\ \end{gathered}
