Challenge The table lists recommended amounts of food to order for 23 party guests. Amanda and Sydney are hosting a graduation party for 40 guests. They know there will also be guests stopping by who may have come from other parties. For ordering purposes, they will count each of these "drop-in" guests as half a guest. How much of each food item should Amanda and Sydney order for a graduation party with 35 drop-in guests? Amanda and Sydney should order pieces of chicken. (Simplify your answer. Type an integer, proper fraction, or mixed number.)

They have 40 guests for the graduation party

And 35 drop-in guests

The drop-in guest = 1/2 guest

Then the total number of guests = 40 + 1/2 x 35 = 57 1/2

The table gave the amount of 23 guests

We need for 57 1/2, then we must order from each item 3 times

Because 23 + 23 = 46 less than the guests, then 46 + 23 = 69 more than the gustes

Since the number of the fried chickens is 24 pieces

Then they should order 24 x 3 = 72 pieces
