The new donut shop sold 210 donuts in the first hour. At this same rate, how many donuts would the shop sell in 90 minutes? Solve the word problem using the unit rate.

Hey this is me again ....

(210)/(60) = (x)/(90) \\

(21)/(6) = (x)/(90) \\

Multiply both sides by 90

90 * (21)/(6) = 90 * (x)/(90) \\

15 * 21 = x

x = 315

So that shop would sell 315 donuts in 90 minutes

Holy crab that is too much donuts impressive....

210 donuts/hour. 90mins is 1hr30min. Half of 210 is 105. 210+105=315. so at that rate the new donut shop would have sold 315 donuts.
