We are going to use the distance between two points formula

d=\sqrt[]{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2}

Replacing the values in the equation we have

x2=3 x1= -7

y2=4 y1=10

d=\sqrt[]{(3-(-7))^2+(4-10)^2}

Solving, we obtain

d=2\cdot\sqrt[]{34}
