-5x+2y=-10

First, add 5x to both sides of the equation:

-5x+2y+5x=-10+5x
2y=-10+5x

Then, divide both sides of the equation by 2:

2y/2=(-10+5x)/2
y=(-10+5x)/2
y=-5+(5)/(2)x
