First let's find the intercept(b)

y=mx+b

The points given are:

x=4 y=-2 and the slope (m)=-3

substitute the values into the formular and evaluate

-2 = -3(4) + b

-2 = -12 + b

Add 12 to both-side of the equation

-2+12 = b

10 = b

y = -3x + 10

So, the y-intercept is (0, 10) and te x-intercept is (3.3 , 0)

0 =- 3x + 10

x=3.3
