Ok first we can solve x for each inequality

\begin{gathered} -4x-11>5 \\ -4x>5+11 \\ -4x>16 \\ x<(16)/(-4) \\ x<-4 \end{gathered}

when you remove a negative sign on inuquality you rotate the symbol

\begin{gathered} 8x-7>9 \\ 8x>9+7 \\ 8x>16 \\ x>(16)/(8) \\ x>2 \end{gathered}

so, we have

x<-4\text{ or x>2}

This is the graph, you dont take -4 and 2
