In order to find the angle of elevation, we can find the measure of angle C using the sum of internal angles in triangle ABC:


\begin{gathered} A+B+C=180\\ \\ 59+90+C=180\\ \\ 149+C=180\\ \\ C=180-149\\ \\ C=31° \end{gathered}

Therefore the angle of elevation is 31°.
