ANSWER :

27/40

EXPLANATION :

There are 26 Democrats and 4 Business majors. However, 3 of the Business majors are also Democrats.

So the total number of Democrats and Business majors is 26 + 4 - 3 = 27

Since there are 40 students in a class, the probability of choosing a Democrat or a Business major is 27/40
