Let:

A = Get a number greater than 4

B = Get an even number

The probability is given by:

P(E)=(m)/(n)

Where:

m = Number of favourable outcomes

n = Total number of outcomes

So:

\begin{gathered} P(A)=(2)/(6)=(1)/(3) \\ P(B)=(3)/(6)=(1)/(2) \\ so\colon \\ P(A\cup B)=(1)/(3)+(1)/(2)=(5)/(6)\approx0.833 \end{gathered}

Answer:

0.833
