Given:

The point is:

(-2,0),(-1,-3),(0,-4),(1,-3),(2,0)

Find-:

How many points lie on the x-axis

Explanation-:

At x-axis value of y is zero.

\begin{gathered} \text{ Point }=(x,y) \\ \\ \text{ At x-axis y is zero. }y=0 \\ \\ \text{ Then the point becomes }=(x,0) \end{gathered}

So, the point on the x-axis is:

\begin{gathered} =(-2,0) \\ \\ =(2,0) \end{gathered}

So, the 2 points lie on the x-axis.
