FH=FG+GH

repalce the values


(5x+2)=(x+5)+(5x-9)

and solve for x


\begin{gathered} 5x-x-5x=5-9-2 \\ -x=-6 \\ x=6 \end{gathered}

the value of x is 6

now replacing on FG


\begin{gathered} FG=x+5 \\ FG=6+5 \\ FG=11 \end{gathered}
