Solution

a) 5175

We know that 5175 /5 = 1035 and 1035/5= 207

207/3= 69 and 69/3= 23

So then we can write the number as:

5175 = 5*5* 3*3 *23

5175= (5^2) (3^2) (23)

b) 8281

We can do this 8281/7 = 1183 and 1183/7= 169

169/13= 13 and 13/13=1

So we can do the following:

8281= 7*7* 13*13
