Given data:

The given triangles.

The expression for the similar traingle is,

\begin{gathered} (AB)/(DE)=(AC)/(DF) \\ (AB)/(AC)=(DE)/(DF) \\ (6)/(8)=(DE)/(DF) \\ (3)/(4)=(DE)/(DF) \\ \angle A\approx\angle D \end{gathered}

Based on above equation when DE is 9 and DF is 12, their ratio is 3:4.

Thus, the second option is correct.
