To do the synthetic division we need to use the coefficients of the polynomial:

4x^3-3x^2-7x+6

which are: 4, -3, -7, and 6, and the zero of the next polynomial:

x-2

which is 2.

Synthetic division

Given that the remainder, 12, is not zero, then (x - 2) is not a factor of the degree 3 polynomial.
