f(x) = 4(x + 2)^2 - 1. Is a parabolic function displaced 2 units negatives to the west

and is displaced 1 unit negative to the south

So then to find axis of simetry, find the line that passes through x = -2.

And this is the asked equation of simetry x = -2

F(x) = 4(x + 2)^2 - 1 What is the equation of the axis of symmetry?-example-1
