The slope of a line that passe through the points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

From the graph we notice that the lines passes through the points (-1,1) and (3,-4); plugging the values of this points in the expression for the slope we have that:

\begin{gathered} m=(-4-1)/(3-(-1)) \\ m=(-5)/(3+1) \\ m=-(5)/(4) \end{gathered}

Therefore the slope of the line is -5/4
