Eddy is correct, Tara is incorrect and Eddy is correct.

Part a.

According to Dallas, all the information needed is the y-intercept is a parabola. That is not true, because two parabolas can have the same y-intercept but one can open upwards and the other can open downwards, or they can have different x-intercepts. Thus, Eddy is correct, more information is needed.

Part b.

Tara argues that only the x-intercepts of a parabola are needed to predict the path of the parabola. That is not correct, more information is needed, because two or more parabolas can have the same x-intercepts or roots, and have different y-intercepts. For that, Tara is not correct.

Part c.

According to Eddy, the y-intercept and the x-intercepts are all needed to sketch the graph.

He is correct because the y-intercept will tell us the point where the graph crosses the y-axis, and the x-intercepts will indicate the points where the graph crosses the x-axis, and that is all needed to graph a parabola. Thus, Eddy is correct
