To identify the intervals in which a function is increasing, we can follow its graph from left to right and when the graph goes up (from left to right) it is inrceasing.

From the graph, we see that it starts decreasing, that is, going down from left to right. It continues until x = -5 when it passes a constant point, but still not increasin. It continues to decrease until x = -1. After x = -1, the graph starts going up from left to right, so it is increasing. This continues until x = 2, where it reaches a pick and decreases until x = 7 and after it.

So, the only interval in which the graph increases is from after x = -1 until befor x = 2, that is:

So, the answer is in interval -1 < x < 2 or, ina different notation, (-1, 2).
