A tablespoon is about 15 mL, and a regular-sized bottle of water is about 0.56 L. About how much more (in millilitres) is a regular-sized bottle of water compared to a tablespoon of water? ANS. _________ ml more.

The first step is to convert 0.56L to mL

Recall,

1 litre = 1000 mL

Thus,

0.56 litres would be x mL

By crossmultiplying, we have

1 * x = 0.56 * 1000

x = 560 mL

By comparing the table spoon with the regular-sized bottle of water, the difference in volume is

560 - 15 = 545

Thus, it is 545 ml more than the table spoon
